One of the first things guests should master in Paris is the Metro system. It's simple enough once you get the hang of it! Paula prefers the bus system, which many tourists avoid because they find it more complicated, but isn't it more fun to watch Paris out the window than be underground the whole way? Having a car to exploring Paris is not necessary: Pubic transportation is exceptional, and exploring on foot is even more fun! (Plus traffic is horrible and street parking is non-existent!) However, some guests do arrive by car and need to park their vehicle while visiting the city. We have found that Parkings de Paris is a very useful website and service for guests to find information and prices on garages around Paris. You can even reserve a parking space in advance on their site!
